1955 — Miss Philippines Yvonne Berrenguer de los Reyes left Manila on July 12, 1955 for L.A. (via Honolulu) on board Pan American Airways. She brought wood carvings and presented them to Mayor George Vermillion of Long Beach, California.
Yvonne Berenguer delos Reyes was Miss Philippines of 1955 and her sister, Simonette delos Reyes was Bb. Pilipinas-Universe of 1970.

Yvonne was a professional ballet dancer and instructor and is the founder and CEO of the companies that manufacture and retails the brand "YVONNES" for dancewear, swimwear and exercise wear.
